WORKING PROGRESS
Through a series of meetings at the South London’s Gallery’s Fire Station I developed a project with the Front of House team of South London Gallery with the idea to re-imagine, use and transform their usual space of work. The project contains of an exhibition accross three gallery spaces at South London Gallery and a screening of moving image works at the Deptford Cinema. A further programme of performances and zine making workshop at the South London Gallery was cancelled due to the COVID-19 closure and restrictions.

26 members of the South London Gallery’s Front of House team re-imagine and transform their usual space of work with an exhibition showcasing their varied practices. The show celebrates the creative talents of young and emerging artists working in south London today.
The artists exhibiting in Working Progress are: Gonçalo Birra, Cain the Abyss, Alice Campos, Rachel Cheung, Avril Corroon, Felix Dean, Flävia Dent, Giacomo Esposito, Andrew Finch, Tyreis Holder, Chai Kamrai, Letícia Laxon, Ocean Loren Baulcombe-Toppin, Ian Malhotra, Jessica Mankowska, Jordan Minga, Iona Moncrieff, Jennifer O’Farrell, Eleni Papazoglou, Joshua Phillips, Davinia-Ann Robinson, Gaby Sahhar, Soha Salem, Derica Shields, James Turner, Ben Whateley and Liam Wilkinson.

PERFORMANCES / 29 FEB - 15 MAR / SOUTH LONDON GALLERY, LONDON
Eleni Papazoglou performed her instructions in Galleries 2 and 3 of the Fire Station on Saturdays, 7 and 21 March and 11 April at 2pm. Tyreis Holder performed on Wednesday 11 March. Second part of the performance programme with Leticia Laxon and Ben Whateley’s performances were cancelled due to COVID-19 closure and restrictions.
