SOUND INSTALLATION, SOUND, PERFORMANCE
as part of series COLLECTIVE GAMES, 2014-2019
Inspired by Oskar Hansen’s theory developed in the 1950s and subsequently built upon by many visual artists in the 1970’s, I developed several collective works and games which explored themes of relationships and trust. These games are based on interactions, site-specific situations and collective colaboration, the purpose of which was to react to the individual or group with a simple visual action.
During Ferrara Residency, Lucie Kordacova expanded an on-going research practice i collective ‘visual games’, which are action-based forms, site specific situations, installations and performances influenced by Oskar Hansen’s ‘Open Form’ methodology.

These ‘collective games’ were presented at Gate/Porta as a playground set design for collective actions and team activities. The process of the game is structured by “moves” and invites participants to restructure the space through
interventions on a give environment. The game as a form of visual communication was available to play with during the opening hours.
